This print is of the amazing Yinhawangka Elder Ivan Smirke (Paraburdoo Region). Ivan grew up on a station, Nic-named 'Cowboy' in town. 
I remember seeing Ivan for the first time riding his horse around Tom Price, a wild and reserved man I couldn't help but paint him. 
Ivan's hands are covered in Red Ochre, something used around Aboriginal Lore Time.

The materials used in making the paper, the text cotton is made from cotton while the bamboo is 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton fibres, making it a much more sustainable option.
